Profiles

Brian Pasmore is the founder and head trainer for K911, located in Edmonton, Alberta.  Brian is a Certified Master Trainer, professionally trained at Canada West Canine Centre, in Salmon Arm, B.C.

With over 15 years experience, Brian specializes in basic and advanced obedience, personal protection training, problem behavior modification (aggression, barking, anxieties), tracking, and other related disciplines.  His training experience also extends to agility and rally obedience.

In 2000, Brian graduated from the University of Alberta, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology.  During this time, he studied behavioral sciences, which has given him special insight into how dogs learn and how to optimize the training experience for them.

We are very sad to have lost Hooper, our 8 year old standard Schnauzer, in 2016 and Sasha, our 15 year old miniature Schnauzer, in 2020.  They were both wonderful companions and obedience dogs and helped many other dogs with their social skills through their work.  We now have Sophie, an 8 year old Doberman, and Willow, a 5 year old standard Schnauzer as our working dogs and family members.

Jason Broadbent is K911’s first franchisee and head trainer, located in Ottawa, Ontario.  Jason is a Certified Obedience Trainer, having apprenticed with Brian.

Following his training and apprenticeship with Brian, Jason specializes in basic obedience and problem behavior modification (aggression, barking, anxieties).

Jason is a canine enthusiast who has been working with dogs for the past 20 years. Jason brings a wealth of experience to dog training and prides himself on his ability to effectively communicate and tailor his programs to the specific needs of his clients and their dogs. At home, Jason has two dogs of his own, Willow and Paddington.
