Walk and Train (Edmonton Only)

If you are short on time, have a high energy or problem dog, and you would like dedicated training from a Certified Master Trainer, this service is for you.  We will come to your home to walk and train your dog for you.

As with all of K911's services, the Walk and Train is tailored to your needs.  The amount of time spent, the behaviours trained, and time of day are all flexible to ensure you and your dog get the most out of each session.  For all new clients, we will begin with a quick evaluation to develop a plan and review your specific needs.

What you get

The walk and train program includes the following:

  • and most importantly ... a tired and better trained dog!

Process 

Evaluation:  The relationship between you and your trainer is an important one: you must be comfortable with your trainer and his philosophies.  The consultation provides time to establish that relationship, assess your goals and needs, and establish clear expectations.  This is the first step to improving your relationship with your dog.

The consultaion will be competed in two parts: 20 minutes over the phone and a half hour in your home.

Walking and Training:  Based on the initial consultation, we will implement a personalized training plan to achieve your specific goals.  Depending on you dog's breed, age, energy level, and behavioural problems, the sessions will vary in length and structure.

Follow up:  Following each session, we will do a quick review to talk about any challenges and recommend homework to get the most out of your relationship with your dog.  This will ensure that you have the tools to continue to build on your dog's success.

Pricing

$50.00-$100.00/hour (pricing will vary individually based on the type of training requested and travel time. GST included).

Multi-session packages are available as well, pricing to be determined after the initial consultation.

Availability

K911 walk and train services are available in the city of Edmonton and area.  An additional travel charge may apply based on mileage and travel time. Please request a quote if you live outside the city of Edmonton.
